The Centre d’activités nature Kanatha-Aki in Val-des-Lacs offers a course of 18 ziplines in the heart of the forest above a rolling stream. The centre’s new Escalarbre activity, which features tree climbing at various levels of difficulty, is definitely worth a try! Travel through the wilderness at Action Tremblant in La Conception along a course of 10 ziplines ranging from 230 to over 650 feet in length. As a bonus, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Rouge River valley. Ziptrek Tremblant boasts five mega double ziplines that let participants soar over the trees for approximately 4 km, from the summit to the base of Mont Tremblant. Get ready for tons of fun!
Moving Up in the World
Rock climbing is an activity that’s growing in popularity. Why not live life vertical on the rocky playground of the Laurentians? Learn the sport and its three disciplines at Le Crux Boisbriand, an indoor climbing centre that provides a safe environment for beginners. Once you know your way around a foothold, La Liberté Nord-Sud offers courses for climbers transitioning to the great outdoors. If you’re looking for more variety, Parc régional de Val-David-Val-Morin (Dufresne sector) has routes and boulders for all skill levels, with top roping, lead climbing and traditional climbing on offer. Think you’ve seen it all? Parc régional du Poisson Blanc has an impressive range of rock walls to climb, most of which are only accessible by boat! To your ropes, chalk, climb!
Fun in the Treetops
For a thrilling day in the Laurentian forest, look up! Don’t wait to try Sommet Morin Heights Acro-Nature for an unforgettable experience over 8 aerial courses. Athletes will love the Ultimate Zone, which has four circuits packed with stations and ziplines. The soon-to-open Treetop Walk Laurentides in Mont-Blanc (Saint-Faustin–Lac-Carré) is a nearly 1 km footbridge through the forest that culminates in a 40 m observation tower. There, you can take in a one-of-a-kind 360° view of the surrounding scenery and mountains. Or, challenge yourself to the four-level aerial obstacle course at Tremblant Activity Centre. Designed to test agility and balance, this course is open to everyone aged three and up.

Did you know that there are only 12 via ferratas in Quebec? Luckily, there are two sites in the Laurentians where you can try this breathtaking activity!
