Here are two accounts of such challenges from Olivier St-Arnaud, Executive Chef at the Casino de Mont-Tremblant, and Carole Tétrault, Director of Sales at the Manoir Saint-Saveur.

LAURENTIANS BUSINESS: WHAT’S UP?
Just 45 minutes from Montreal, the Laurentians offer visitors an array of magnificent landscapes to discover. The region’s inspiring surroundings and bustling villages make it the perfect destination for a successful business trip.
Meeting planners are always looking for something new. We are offering three innovative products that will not only meet the objectives of your meeting but also delight your participants!
Since my teenage years, I have always wanted to work in tourism. Bringing tourists into Québec has been my professional vocation! I have now been working for over 30 years in the industry: tourist bureau, hotels and now for over 20 years at Tourism Laurentians. My specialty: business tourism. My objective: to make sure the Laurentian region is well known to all those planning conferences, congresses and business meetings. To find the right hotel complex for them, as well as the activities that match their expectations. And lastly, to get a wow! reaction from the organizers themselves.
As the coordinator of business tourism, my know-how and the contacts I have with Laurentian businesses means I can save a great deal of time for event organizers, as well as keeping them informed on the latest activities.
Having worked for over 20 years in the Laurentians, I know the region down to its smallest details: hotel infrastructure, restaurants, and all the activities and services available. I love its marvelous and ever changing landscapes, the multitude of outdoor activities we have to offer, the super cuisines of all types and the many friends I have made here. As I never tire of saying, “I’ve got the Laurentians tattooed on my heart.”
I look forward to talking with you soon,

A REGION CLOSE TO URBAN CENTERS
The Laurentian region is located less than 45 minutes to the north of Montréal. If coming from southern Québec, your participants can access the region easily via Highways 15 or 13, and via Highway 50 if coming from the west of the province. For those participants arriving from the east, there is no need to go through Montréal itself, as Highways 40 and 640 link up to Highway 15.
Another positive factor is that the great majority of lodging is located within a few kilometers of Highway 15. So you have direct access and can maximize your time!
What’s more, if your participants are arriving by plane, there are commercial flights with regular connections to the international airports of Montréal-Trudeau and La Macaza-Mont Tremblant, and specially organized connections to Montréal-Mirabel airport.
