Outdoor Activities

Mini-Golf – Sommet Saint-Sauveur

Better practice your putting stance: Sommet Saint-Sauveur’s 18-hole Mini-Golf course is full of all kinds of challenges. Located between the beach and Manic Island, it is perfectly integrated into the natural environment with its waterfalls, different levels, bridges, tunnels, tunnels and vegetation. This mini-golf course is a must for the whole family, whether you’re 3 or 93 years old. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Amusement Parc

Parc F.U.N., Viking and Dragon – Saint-Sauveur

Look no further for something to do this spring: Visit PARC F.U.N. for some good times with family and friends thanks to a wide variety of rides for all ages. Whirl in the Honey Bee, fly aboard the Red Baron, hop around in the Giant Tree, glide on the Dragon, zigzag on the Viking and take off for a faraway galaxy in the Sonic. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

You must absolutely try The Viking, an incredible alpine coaster. Alone or in tandem, come out and hurtle down the mountain through the forest on a track full of surprises. Children between 96 and 140 cm (38 and 55 inches) must descend with a person over 16. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

But let’s not forget The Dragon, a one-of-a-kind zipline that will take you on a thrilling ride with a breathtaking view over the Saint-Sauveur Valley. Children between 106 and 120 cm tall must be accompanied by a person over 16 years old. Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Au Pays des Merveilles – Sainte-Adèle

Au Pays des Merveilles is an amusement park in Sainte-Adèle inhabited by characters from your favourite fairy tales. Over 55 activities are offered to children ages 2 to 8 accompanied by their parents or grandparents. Meet Alice, Cinderella, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Her Majesty the Queen of Hearts, and the mascots Bunny Bunny and Loulou the Wolf in their cute little houses and magical decor. Schedule: June 14 to August 26, the park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Located on a wooded hill, the park features splash parks, giant slides, inflatable games, nine mechanical rides, and, of course, picnic areas and restaurants. It’s a fantastic opportunity to spend a magical day with your family.

Le Village du Père Noël – Val-David

For more than 60 years, Santa Claus has been coming back every year to meet you at his summer residence in Val-David in the beautiful Laurentians. The Village du Père Noël offers water slides, climbing walls, a petting farm, a splash park and much more. A magic show takes place daily. In all, more than 40 activities are offered to children from 2 to 8 years old. They will also be able to meet Santa—the real one! Schedule: The village will be open from June 16 to August 26, 2018, and September 1, 2 and 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Water Activities

Tubing down the River – Camping Le Fou du Roi – Rivière-Rouge

At Camping Le Fou du Roi, groups or families can peacefully explore the Rouge River on inner tubes while basking in the beauty of the river and the sun. Important: life jackets required for everyone under 18 years old.  Open daily, weather permitting, until September 3, 2018. Every hour from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., the shuttle service takes you to the starting point of your tubing trip. You can take as many trips down the river as you wish.

Canoe-Kayak Arundel – Arundel

Canoe-Kayak Arundel offers canoes and kayaks suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. You can also rent kayaks for kids, tandems and fishing kayaks. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Schedule: From June 15 to August 4, 2018, the park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Kayak Café – Labelle

Kayak Café invites you to discover the meanders of the Rouge River by canoe, kayak or now Stand Up Paddle board. Gently drift along and enjoy sandy beaches beckoning you for a swim or picnic. The section of the Rouge River used by Kayak Café is accessible to all. The courses are peaceful, without rapids and require no special skills. Daily departures start at 9:00 a.m. Three trips are available. Shuttle service and equipment included. Schedule: Open daily starting June 6, 2018. The 8 km trip, departures every 30 minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. For the 12 km trip, departures every 30 minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and the 23 km trip, departure at 10:00 a.m.

Aventure Nouveau-Continent / À l’Abordage – Val-David

Experience a tranquil run downriver by canoe or kayak. In Val David or Mont-Tremblant, À L’Abordage has been offering safe and affordable packages for the whole family for over 15 years.

Val-David: A 7 km river trip (+/-2 hours) and return by bike on the P’tit Train du Nord bicycle path (4 km).  All equipment is included: canoe, single or tandem kayak, life jackets, bicycles, trailers, giraffes or bikes for children and adults. A shuttle service is also available if you do not wish to bike. In between the two activities, you can fully enjoy your day on the shores of Lake Raymond, where you’ll find a public beach and picnic tables.

Mont-Tremblant: Discover the three courses on the rivière du Diable for beginner, intermediate or advanced paddlers. A unique activity to experience the beaches and landscapes of Mont-Tremblant at your own pace. 11 km, 12 km or 23 km trip packages that last between 3 and 6 hours. Packages include all equipment and transportation service.

Schedule of the two points of service: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekends from May 15 to June 24. From June 24 to August 3, 2018, the park is open daily and on weekends from September 1 to the end of October. Closed on rainy days. Average duration: 3 hours.

Nouveau Monde Rafting – Grenville-sur-la-Rouge

Nouveau Monde Rafting offers a family package consisting of a day filled with exceptional adventures for the whole family. Accompanied by our expert guides, you will go down 8 to 10 km on the Rouge River in class 1 to class 3 rapids. While at it, you will also be able to enjoy swimming and bodysurfing on the beautiful Rouge River. Propulsion Excursions en rivière – Grenville-sur-la-Rouge

Propulsion Excursions en rivière offers moderate rafting so that the whole family can have fun. Perfect for relaxing and swimming, the moderate rafting package allows you to experience beautiful natural beaches interspersed with class 1 to 3 rapids. Experienced guides will safely guide your family all day long. Moderate rafting on the 7 soeurs section is available starting in mid-June, when the Rouge River has ended its flooding stage and water levels have come back down. The activity is recommended for children from 6 to 12 years old weighing at least 50 pounds.

Super Aqua Club – Pointe-Calumet

Super Aqua Club is the perfect place to fully enjoy summer, whether you are in a group or with your family. Parc aquatique du Sommet Saint-Sauveur – Saint-Sauveur

For the ultimate family experience, Parc aquatique du Sommet Saint-Sauveur offers a range of invigorating activities in an enchanting mountain environment. Discover the sinuous slides, wild rafting, peaceful river, relaxing pool spa, alpine coaster and thrilling double zipline as well as the Parc F.U.N. with its funfair atmosphere that is enjoyable for both young and old. Rock Climbing and Ropes Courses

Acro-Nature du Sommet Morin Heights

Charge up and join the adventure of Acro-Nature du Sommet Morin Heights’ seven courses, accessible through the lift. It is located on the outskirts of the ski trails in a majestic forest where you will be able to experience aerial activities. Discover your true nature with the Big Course, which includes 46 stations. THE ULTIMATE ZONE, 9 high-caliber stations + 3 ziplines join the Big Course. Furthermore, “ZOOMER”, a junior course located at the base of the mountain, offers children from 6 to 12 years old 15 stations, including 2 zip-lines specially made for them. Schedule: May 19 to June 15, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and June 16 to September 3, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Le Centre d’Activités Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant

Right in Tremblant, the Centre d’Activités Tremblant offers treetop ziplines and games all year round and a children’s course (in the summer). This activity is for children 5 years old and above. The Centre d’Activités has offered activities in the Mont-Tremblant area since 1997. Parcours Aventure Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant

Are you looking for a unique, stimulating, out-of-the ordinary experience with friends or family? Parcours Aventure Tremblant offers you a rewarding, safe and challenge-filled outdoor experience. The numerous and diverse courses are adapted to each person’s skill and fitness level. The company offers Le petit Manitou course, which includes a dozen challenges that will allow children (over 1.10 metres tall) to have fun while developing their physical abilities. Schedule: from May 19 to June 22, departure at 1:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and departures every hour between noon and 4:00 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday. From June 23 to September 3, daily departures every 30 minutes between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. From September 4 to October 8, departure at 1:30 pm daily on weekdays and departures on the hour between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekends.

Ziptrek Ecotours Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant

Ziptrek Ecotours Tremblant offers aerial ecotourism adventures with five mega double ziplines that let participants soar over the trees over a distance of 4 km from the top to the base of Mont Tremblant. Accompanied by guides, the 3-hour activity includes the ascent of the Mont Tremblant aboard the panoramic gondola, three forest walks and informative presentations on ecology, the history of development of the region and the fauna and flora of the Laurentians. For ages 7 and above. Open daily.

Kanatha-Aki Nature Center – Val-des-Lacs

Kanatha-Aki Nature Center welcomes you to an excursion on 18 ziplines in an enchanting setting. Just 90 minutes from Montreal and 40 minutes from Mont-Tremblant, you will be immersed in the heart of the forest as you soar over a mountain stream. Enjoy your activity in complete safety thanks to the continuous belay system, a new permanent safety system in Quebec. The activity can be combined with fishing by hand and wood bison observation. Another Adventure

Géo-Explora – Mont-Tremblant

Géo-Explora is a self-guided exploration game on three-wheeled electric scooters. An iPad with GPS will guide you on country roads to little-known areas so that you and your teammates can solve the game’s quiz and learn more about secrets surrounding the fauna, flora and history of Mont-Tremblant. This outdoor adventure game allows children to fully participate. Paintball and Combat Archery

Arc-Attaque – Mirabel

Arc-Attaque is a combat archery company located in the Laurentians. We organize exciting activities adapted to your needs in various locations, whether in our over 3 km² outdoor facilities between May and October, on your premises or in one of our portable courses throughout the year. For ages 12 and above. Schedule: Time slots are available from May to October between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Reservations required.

Paintball Mirabel – Mirabel

Throughout our 33 fields, which include an indoor facility laid out with unmatched realism, the Paintball Mirabel team has created a unique high-intensity, immersive experience for you. Two new activities are available for visitors of all ages. Mousseball is an activity for children 8 years and above practiced with Nerf-style pistols on fields that resemble the scenery in animated films. Paintball Fort Ouest – Arundel

Near Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentians, Paintball Fort Ouest offers various activities throughout the four seasons. The Paintball Centre has 15 playing fields. For children 10 years old and above. Children aged 10 and 11 must be accompanied by a parent in the field. Open year-round.

Perroquets en Folie – Saint-Placide

A zoo of parrots and exotic birds, Perroquets en folie is a tropical oasis located on the shore of the Lac des Deux-Montagnes, home to a happy bunch of parrots and exotic birds. You can admire a unique collection of 150 specimens originating from the four corners of the earth, such as the Australia, Asia and South America. Entertainment and picnic area on site. Alpagas des Hautes-Laurentides – Lac-Saguay

Alpagas des Hautes-Laurentides is a farm located in an enchanting setting in the Laurentians that focuses on raising alpacas. Guided tours are offered by appointment where the owner explains the fibre transformation process from shearing to making the finished product. Les Écuries du Chantecler – Sainte-Adèle

Visit the mountains of Sainte-Adèle on horseback! Many activities and packages are available at Les Écuries du Chantecler. Accompanied or unaccompanied pony rides are available for younger children. A wonderful initiation for little ones. Family horseback rides are also available. Families and beginners can enjoy horseback rides in the mountains with several routes adapted to their needs. Birds of Prey at the Centre d’Activités Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant

During the Apprentice-Falconer Walk, a falconer introduces participants to the art and basics of falconry and gives them the chance to fly a trained raptor (Harris’s hawk from Mexico and the American Southwest Harris). Equipped with a glove and a bag of food, the apprentice will call the raptor to the glove several times. The Tremblant Apprentice-Falconer Walk is an experience to share with family or friends. This activity takes place in small private groups of no more than 6 participants. Reservations required.

Ranch La douceur – Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

Ranch La Douceur offers many activities: pony rides, a day camp, horse rides and much more. A horseback riding initiation day for schools is available. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Open year-round.

Du Coq à l’Âne des Laurentides – Huberdeau

Spend a day at the farm with the hosts and their animals. Participate in Parc à Coco’s activities, feeding and petting cute baby animals. You can also enjoy walking trails, an island with a natural beach, a playground and picnic areas. Kanatha-Aki Nature Center – Val-des-Lacs

The Kanatha-Aki Nature Center offers many custom packages, such as short rides, excursions and expeditions on horseback, wilderness survival, fishing (fly fishing, line fishing, fishing by hand and ice fishing) and much more. Come share our passion and love of horses, and treat yourself to unforgettable adventures. The Adahy horseback riding excursion is a one-hour horseback ride and is accessible to beginners of all ages. Open year-round.

Intermiel – Mirabel

Discover the wonderful world of bees at Intermiel! The guided tour includes the opening of a beehive with a beekeeper and a demonstration on the benefits of bee products accompanied by tastings. A visit to the meadery and distillery will allow you to try meads and artisanal drinks. Nid’Otruche

Nid’Otruche is a ranch with 200 ostriches, emus, rheas, ponies and a petting farm. Experience the safari tour: At this ostrich interpretation centre, adventurers will meet chicks in the nursery and come beak to beak with a herd of ostriches and perhaps even have the chance to touch them. Animalium Mont-Tremblant – Mont-Tremblant

The permanent Animalium exhibition, a window into the animal world, presents four distinct natural environments along with their main animal inhabitants. You can learn about the incredible array of wildlife and plants that live in North American and European temperate forests, the Arctic tundra and the African savannah. MégaMaze – Saint-Jérôme

Located in Saint-Jérôme, MégaMaze is one of the largest family fun centres in Quebec. Le Farfadet du Nord, Board-Game Café – Saint-Jérôme

Board game enthusiasts will be thrilled. Le Farfadet du Nord offers its visitors a beautiful assortment of hundreds of games. For only $6, everyone can choose his or her favourite board game or get game tips from energetic, lively facilitators. During the wild gaming action, players can enjoy delicious treats and savour some outstanding coffee in a warm atmosphere and a unique décor. For the whole family. Défis-Défis is a one-of-a-kind indoor entertainment centre. Come for a unique experience and have fun with family and friends or as a team in a warehouse sprawled over 4,000 ft2. Inspired by the television show Fort Boyard, you must take on 12 challenges before time runs out: the Défis-Défis, the word shower, the word maze, pockets, grain sacks, catapults, cannonballs, hanging balloons, barrels, and the extreme memory game. The games are accessible for the whole family from 5 to 75 years old. Reservations required.

Established over 20 years ago in the Laurentians, BILLES & CIE is located in the heart of the enchanting village of Saint-Sauveur.
