Défis-Défis in Blainville

Like on the television show Fort Boyard, complete 12 challenges before time runs out: the Défis-Défis, the claw, the word shower, the word maze, the hole-in-one, the cornhole, catapults, cannonballs, basin, barrels, and word finds. Suited to players aged 5 to 75. Pricing: from March 2 to 10 inclusively, take advantage of special rates. Admission will be $13.95 for all (children and adults). MiniMaze Blainville

Mégamaze amusement centre in Saint-Jérôme

Mégamaze is one of the largest amusement centres in Canada. With more than 30,000 square feet of pure fun, your children will never want to leave. The centre includes a toddler area (age 0-5), a children’s area (age 3-12), a trampoline section, a restaurant and a candy bar. Animalium Mont-Tremblant

The permanent ANIMALIUM exhibition, a window into the animal world, showcases four different natural environments and the animals that inhabit them. Spring break activities at Manoir Globensky in Saint-Eustache

Feu, feu, joli feu : les apprentis pompiers! (Fire, fire: learn to be a firefighter!) Offered alongside the Pleins feux sur le métier de pompier (A day in the life of a firefighter) exhibition, this activity introduces visitors to the work of a firefighter through an interactive course. After the visit, you will be an expert in fire prevention. You can then help create a firefighter-themed decorative garland. Let your creativity run wild with cardboard, markers, and stencils. For children aged 6 to 12. Hours of operation: March 4 at 10:00 a.m., March 5 at 1:30 p.m., March 6 at 10:00 a.m., March 7 at 1:30 p.m., and March 8 at 10:00 a.m.

Parc National d’Oka

This spring break, head to Parc National d’Oka for a series of special activities. Grab your hats and mitts – it’s time for your family to answer the call of the great outdoors! March 1st and 6: snowshoe hike at Calvaire d’Oka, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Reservations required. March 2 and 3: biathlon – free activity. March 9 and 10: treasure hunt – free activity. Activities for the entire family: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and hiking. Free equipment rentals for children 17 and under accompanied by their family. Pricing: 18 years and up: $8.50 and free for children 17 and under.

Parc du Domaine Vert in Mirabel

Parc du Domaine Vert offers several activities: hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fat biking trails, a one-kilometre skating circuit in the forest, and a sledding hill. Carnaval de Luciö at Route des Gerbes d’Angelica in Mirabel

Route des Gerbes d’Angelica invites you to its brand-new carnival: a perfect opportunity to celebrate and dance to the tune of lively melodies, rigodons and other traditional songs.  Head to Luciö Forest with its decor of 250,000 lights to meet Mr. and Ms. Clause and the ice queen, dressed in traditional Quebec garb. Hooray for spring break! Get ready for an action-packed week at Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord from March 4 to 8, 2019! Play games with lively animators and go for a walk in the snow on groomed trails. You can also cross-country ski, snowshoe, and even slide down a miniature hill! Schedule: from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., bouncy castles; from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. obstacle courses and storytelling; from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., escape games and a compass rally. Hot chocolate and marshmallows will be served, free of charge. For each adult equipment rental, get a free 2-hour equipment rental for two children 17 and under.

Centre de plein air Roger-Cabana in Saint-Hippolyte

At Centre de plein air Roger-Cabana, skate round an ice trail through a picturesque forest, or cross-country ski or snowshoe on specially designed trails. In total, 11.8 km of cross-country ski trails and 9.2 km of snowshoeing trails await! Pricing: free for residents, subject to proof of residency, and $14 for non-residents.

Glissades des Pays d’en Haut in Piedmont

On the program: 50 sledding, bobsleigh, Vortex360 Tornade, rafting, and snowtubing runs for all levels and an 80 m vertical drop. Cabane à sucre Arthur Raymond will officially open on March 2, 2019. Hours of operation: March 3 to 7, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., March 8 and 9, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and March 10, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sommet Saint-Sauveur – versant Avila Tubing Park

Saint-Sauveur Tubing Park has 21 snowtubing runs and four lifts. The runs are lit up on Friday and Saturday evenings until 9:00 p.m. At the foot of the hill, the versant Avila Sugar Shack serves a typical sugar shack menu every weekend. Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tyroparc in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

After snowshoeing across a 1-km trail through Mont-Catherine forest, zipline through the mountain over 100 m above ground. Pricing: 16 and up $55 and children aged 5 to 15 $40. Hours of operation: upon reservation. Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Ranch La douceur in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts

This spring break, Ranch La douceur is hosting an equestrian day camp from March 4 to 8, for children aged 5 and up. The price includes a full day at the ranch and 1 hour of horseback riding lessons with a certified teacher. Pricing: $75 per day. Reservation required: Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tremblant Resort

From March 2 to 10, 2019, throughout the entire spring break, Tremblant has no shortage of activities specially designed for families. Tremblant Snow School offers a variety of programs for all levels of skier or snowboarder. In the village, the whole family will have a blast with crazy games and at Saturday night fever.

Kanatha-Aki Nature Centre in Val-des-Lacs

Visit the wood bison reserve and help preserve the species! On the program: dogsledding and visit to the kennel, snowshoeing, ice fishing, ziplining, learning about Indigenous culture and nature, and an introduction to wilderness survival skills. Pricing: to visit the husky kennel (1 hour): $15 per person, free for children.

Domaine Saint-Bernard in Mont-Tremblant

For spring break, Domaine Saint-Bernard is offering a spring break camp from March 4 to 8 for children aged 5 to 12. On the program: Yoga, cross-country skiing, art and cooking, music and astronomy.
