Hurtle down the slopes at full speed!
During spring break, come for a fun-filled family day of sledding! Glissades des Pays d’en Haut in Piedmont offers a variety of sledding options: rafting, Tornade, bobsled, or the Vortex360 for bigger thrills! Head over to Sommet Saint-Sauveur – versant Avila only a few steps from the ski slopes for some snow tubing fun. Get together to enjoy several runs and time around a huge fieldstone fireplace in a comforting atmosphere. Note that both sites are also open in the evening.
The Summit of Your Adventures!
Bring both your young and older skiing buddies to the incredible Laurentian mountains! Many packages are available to introduce you to the sport or hone your skills. Come meet the qualified ski instructors who will adapt to your needs. Some ski resorts have a snow park so that even the little ones can tackle the turns, jumps, and speed. It’s wonderful activity during some well-deserved time off from school.

Head out for adventure with your family across kilometres of trails on a dog sled! Whether with Ski Doux, Laurel Aventure Nature, Tremblant Activity Centre, Action Tremblant, Alaskan Aventure, or Kanatha-Aki Nature Centre, the wild landscapes of the Laurentians are sure to take your breath away! Local businesses are offering a variety of packages, from a basic intro to a package deal including all kinds of activities to put together a day to remember in the company of a pack of adorable huskies. Treat your children to the adventure!
Ready, set, skate!
Break out of your routine and come skate with your family at the region’s parks, trails, and ice loops. Introduce your children to a new sport they might love. Some skating centres even offer the possibility of skating at night for a one-of-a-kind experience as soon as night falls.
Winter Fun in the Woods
Cross-country ski or snowshoe through maintained trails in the parks and admire the snowy forest. For an introduction, enroll your children in one of the Laurentians’ cross-country ski schools. The activity and equipment rentals are free at Parc national d’Oka and at Parc national du Mont-Tremblant for children under the age of 18.
Indoor Activities for Spring Break
There are loads of fun indoor activities for the whole family in the region! If you like trampolines and ninja courses, bounce on over to O-Volt Blainville. Hours of fun await at MégaMaze Blainville and Saint-Jérôme, with a maze spanning three floors, exciting obstacles, and a candy bar. Climbers: Le Crux Boisbriand Climbing Centre has everything for you, with its harness-free bouldering area or top-roping area to get started in the sport. Meanwhile, Tag E-Karting offers activities such as karting, laser tag, axe throwing, an arcade, and much more!

Family visit to the Moulin Légaré in Saint-Eustache
From February 27 to March 6, come learn how millers produce wheat and buckwheat flour at the Moulin Légaré in Saint-Eustache. Here’s what’s on the menu: making gears and buckwheat flour and the master miller’s demonstration. Registration required by phone at 450 974-5170.
Spring Break in Tremblant

Astronomy Evening at Parc national du Mont-Tremblant
On Wednesday, March 2, join Gabrielle Caron-Bouchard for an evening of astronomical observation! There will be a fire on site and hot chocolate for everyone. No registration required.
