Snowmobiling in the Laurentians

Renowned for its warm welcome and excellent reputation, the Laurentians are ranked one of the leading snowmobiling destinations in Quebec. Their ideal geographical location means that snow is guaranteed every year. On average, 350 cm of snow blanket the region in wintertime, allowing for a network of 2,437 km of marked and maintained trails. The following circuits are packed with discoveries and snowy landscapes.


Wood runner trail

Start your journey in Mont-Laurier for a grand total of 464 km. Discover the majestic Diable mountain and fall under the spell of its splendour. Admission to Parc régional Montagne du Diable is paid and includes access to the Chutes Windigo. Located at the summit of the mountain, the Relais de la montagne du Diable is the perfect place to meet other snowmobilers with a passion for the breathtaking view of the entire region and some of its main attractions. Continue your adventure to Baskatong reservoir to admire the incredible scenery. Succumb to the charming warm welcome and comfort of our eight forest innkeepers, who are there to guide your discovery of the Upper Laurentians and the unique world of forest living!

Le pittoresque

Start your journey in Labelle for 319 km of trails. Departing from the train station, take the P’tit Train du Nord until Mont-Laurier, passing the municipality of La Macaza and the town of Rivière-Rouge and following Lac Nominingue along the way. Fall in love with the scenery at Parc régional Kiamika and Lac Curières, then head back to Labelle via Mont-Tremblant International Airport in La Macaza. A lovely outing to recharge in the Upper Laurentians.

From station to station

Start in Rivière-Rouge for a total of 183 km. On the P’tit Train du Nord, continue toward Nominingue via La Minerve, Lac-des-Plages, La Conception, and Labelle to discover our beautiful heritage train stations. Start or end your day with a visit to L’Annonciation station in Rivière-Rouge, known for its multidisciplinary exhibition hall. There, you can admire the fountain sculpted out of pink granite outside the station. Stop at the Musée ferroviaire gare de Labelle along the way to discover the history of the municipality and the P’tit Train du Nord. Where fun and history meet!

Discovery circuit

Departing from Mirabel or Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, discover 323 km of snowy trails winding through lakes, hills, mountains, and forests. This trail takes you through the Central and Lower Laurentians.

P’tit Train du Nord linear park

The P’tit Train du Nord linear park is home to 117 km of snowmobile trails between kilometre 45.6 (Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts) and 69 (Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré) and north of kilometre 107.5 (Labelle to Mont-Laurier). Experience the joy of snowmobiling!
