Why not extend your visit at one of the region’s inns, hotels, or resorts? Here are our recommendations for incredible activities and experiences to inspire memorable moments this festive season.

Christmas Magic at Route des Gerbes d’Angelica in Mirabel

Fall deep into the magical ambience of 350,000 lights with Christmas Magic at Route des Gerbes d’Angelica. Come and visit the enchanted forest, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and the Snow Queen. Luciö, a magical elf, will sweep you away to his imaginary world and invite you to discover his bright, multicoloured village. Reconnect with your inner child in the brand-new miniature Christmas village, brought to life by rides, lights, and Christmas scenes. A day of tubing

Make the most of the outdoors by spending a day of fun tubing with the entire family at one of the region’s tubing centres! Sommet Saint-Sauveur, versant Avila’s Snow Tubing Park has 19 tubing runs and 2 rafting runs. At Glissades des Pays d’en Haut, there’s tubing, snow rafting, and bobsleigh. A must-see in the region!

Experience a dog-sledding adventure

Spend a magical day on a dog sled! Local businesses are offering a variety of packages, from a basic intro to a package deal including all kinds of activities to create a memorable adventure in the company of a pack of adorable huskies. Get moving in the outdoors

Reserve a day of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the Laurentians and make incredible memories for yourself! Several locations offer a rental service, as well as beginner, intermediate, and expert trails. An excellent way for the family to get together outdoors for a day of fun and discovery in the winter! Oka and Mont-Tremblant offer free rentals for visitors aged 18 and under.

Try an unusual winter activity

Come for a crazy adventure in the middle of winter! Try out Tyroparc’s The Winter Discovery package, which includes a via ferrata course, in between hiking and climbing rock walls, and a 1.5-km downhill mega-zipline course. Action Tremblant is offering a 10-zipline course designed to showcase the valley of the Rouge River like never before. Let the adventure begin!

Fatbiking, an activity to discover

Try the experience of winter biking and discover the joys of winter from a new angle—a fatbike! Reserve in advance at Parc National d’Oka to access trails in the heart of nature or at Espresso Sports in Sainte-Adèle, near the P’tit Train du Nord. For a guided fatbike or e-fatbike tour, make a reservation at D-Tour in Mont-Tremblant. Finally, in the same sector, rent your bike at Expérience SK. No experience needed; fun guaranteed!

Always have fun!

There are loads of fun indoor activities in the region! If you like trampolines and ninja courses, bounce on over to O-Volt Blainville. Hours of fun await at MégaMaze Blainville and Saint-Jérôme, with a maze spanning three floors, exciting obstacles, and a candy bar. Climbers: Le Crux Boisbriand Climbing Center has everything for you, with its harness-free bouldering area or top-roping area to get started in the sport. Meanwhile, Tag E-Karting offers activities such as karting, laser tag, axe throwing, an arcade, and much more!

Conquer the slopes

Come to the region to ski under the stars or zig-zag in the snowy glades of one of 12 downhill ski resorts in the Laurentians! Find out why it’s so hard to put words to the joy of skiing atop snowy summits. Get started in the sport with a private ski or snowboard lesson. Or, if you’re more experienced, come and play in one of several snow parks.

After a long day out skiing, enjoy a well-deserved drink with your partner or friends! Several microbreweries await for a Happy Hour you won’t forget. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover local artisanal beers. There’s something for everyone, from blond beer to red beer to a whole different set of flavours like hibiscus, citrus, and spice. Enjoy the varied menu and discover something new in a casual environment.
