Family skating locations in the Laurentians

You’re invited to discover the Laurentians’ exceptional landscapes! In this fabulous decor, come and make your adventure a reality in a getaway atmosphere in the heart of nature. Discover the wide-open spaces, get away to the fresh air of the great outdoors, and spend quality time with friends or family. Discover the ice skating rinks and paths in the Laurentians:

Parc du Domaine Vert – Mirabel

Skating loop of approximately 1 km. A few pairs of skates are available at the rental store. The park is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The rental store is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (no rentals after 2:00 p.m.) and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (no rentals after 3:00 p.m.).  Admission to the park in winter is $15 per adult, $7 per child, $12 for students and seniors, and free for residents with proof of residency.

Parc régional éducatif Bois de Belle-Rivière – Mirabel

A 2.5-km lit ice trail in the forest. Bring your skates. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the park is $7 per adult and $3 for children aged 6 to 16. A regulation-size rink is also available for hockey players.

Don’t miss the lit skating evenings on Fridays and Saturdays until 8:45 p.m. We recommend checking the skating conditions before leaving.

Centre de plein air Roger-Cabana – Saint-Hippolyte

A 0.6-km skating trail in the forest. Heated shelter. Make sure to bring the necessary equipment. Open 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends only until 31 March; open during spring break from 2 to 6 March. Free admission.

John-H.-Molson Park – Saint-Sauveur

Lit skating trails over a total of 1.5 km. What’s more, there are three hockey rinks. Heated cabin with bathrooms. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Free admission.

Bernard-Besner skating trail – Saint-Eustache

Located on the Milles Îles River, the skating trail totals 2 km. On site are a heated RV, chemical toilets, benches, and a picnic table for you to use. The trail is open daily (depending on the temperature and ice conditions) from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Free admission.

15 February: an evening of animation at Bernard-Besner skating trail on the river. On the program: music, door prizes, animation, and skating. Free. 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

Léonidas-Dufresne Park – Val-David

Lit rink for free skating and hockey. Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Heated shelter. Free admission.

Violette-Gauthier building – Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson

A 1.8-km, lit rink and ice loop on Masson Lake. The Violette-Gauthier building is open Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Skates are available for rent at the building on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Snacks available for purchase, bathrooms, and music. Free admission.

1 to 22 February 2020: Masson Lake celebrates. Don’t miss out on the many free outdoor activities offered on Saturdays throughout February at the big skating rink on Masson Lake. More details here!

Saint-Bernard Chapel – Mont-Tremblant

Rink next to the Saint-Bernard Chapel in Tremblant’s pedestrian village. Skate away the evening on the lit rink with music and a campfire. The rink is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Skate loans available from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to guests staying at Tremblant Resort (conditions apply). Free admission.

Mercier Lake – Mont-Tremblant

Ice loop lit until 10:00 p.m. daily. Heated room and bathrooms on site. Free admission. While you’re there, try ice sledding, located next to the ice loop: fun for the whole family!

Grégoire-Charbonneau Square – Nominingue

The rink, located behind the town hall, gives hockey players a chance to play their favourite sport. What’s more, another rink is available for free skating. Heated room with bathrooms and water fountains available for you to use. Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Free admission.

Ducharme Park – Sainte-Thérèse

Lit ice loop. Open Monday to Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Free admission.

École à l’Orée-des-Bois – Saint-Colomban

A 1-km skating trail in the forest. Heated shelter. The skating trail is open and lit every day until 10:00 p.m. Free admission.

Domaine Laurentien – Prévost

In addition to seven rinks in the parks, make sure to check out the skating loop on the baseball field at Domaine Laurentien. The 0.4-km ice loop is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Heated shelter on site. Free admission.

Polyvalente Saint-Jérôme – Saint-Jérôme

The city of Saint-Jérôme has a total of 13 outdoor rinks, including three hockey rinks and an ice loop in the Polyvalente park. The 0.4-km ice loop is lit.

Open Monday to Friday 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Free admission.
