Fall is upon us, and the Laurentians are once again ablaze with colour! This fall, the region will host a variety of events to highlight this incredible season. Foodies are sure to delight in the fine food tasting options. Come and discover fall events in the Laurentians:
Harvest at Rivière du Chêne Winery in Saint-Eustache
Come and take part in the harvest at Rivière du Chêne Winery! The event is free; reservations required. The event includes a friendly BBQ, wine tasting, and a draw for a door prize. Harvest dates: September 19, 20, 26, and 27, and October 3, 4, 10, 11, and 12, 2020.
Visit the giant sunflower field at Intermiel in Mirabel
Intermiel is offering a new activity for free this fall. Stroll through the sunflower field, breathe in the fresh scent of this majestic flower, and have your picture taken against a mind-blowing backdrop! Bring your blankets and chairs for an outdoor picnic, visit the outdoor miniature farm, purchase products at the boutique, and, if you’re so inclined, take a guided tour, for the cost of a few dollars well spent, with the charismatic Anne-Marie. Hike X Yoga – Fall schedule at Sommet Saint-Sauveur
This fall, come and spend a wonderful evening in the outdoors at Sommet Saint-Sauveur. Scale the mountain and take a yoga class at the summit. Bring your yoga mat, a good pair of shoes, a water bottle, and a snack. Reserve online for $15 (30 spots available). Thursday, September 24, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19 and 26, and October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
The colours of Sommet Saint-Sauveur
Come and admire the region’s blazing colours from the top of Sommet Saint-Sauveur mountain in the Laurentians. Take the chairlift to the top for a colourful hike of the mountain. Make the most of the rides, alpine roller coaster, double zipline, and mini-golf course at Parc F.U.N. The chairlift is open Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until October 25 and from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from October 9 to 12.
Exhibit – Les Stations Éphémères along the Aerobic Corridor
All are invited to experience the pop-up works in various locations (stops) along the Aerobic Corridor, from Morin-Heights to Amherst, created by artists and cultural organizations of the Laurentians and Pays-d’en-Haut RCM. Until September 27, the public is invited to choose their favourite among the six artistic pop-ups created for the event. By casting their vote on site, participants will be entered in a draw to win $200 worth of local products. Until September 27, 2020.
Couleur Country in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the Laurentians is going country for the weekend! Don’t forget your cowboy hat and boots! Check out the schedule on the city’s Facebook page! Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
