Pointe-Calumet beach
Pointe-Calumet beach is a clean and stunning location in the Lower Laurentians! There are plenty of activities on site: volleyball, pétanque, boat rentals, animation, and much more. In addition to the multiple restaurants available, there are picnic areas, lounge chairs, and bouncy castles for children. Rent a BBQ or bring your own food. Information about rates.
Parc national d’Oka – Lac des Deux Montagnes
The beach at Parc national d’Oka is a magnificent stretch of 7 kilometres along Lac des Deux Montagnes! Activity options include canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, and stand-up paddle boarding, all available at the rental center located directly on the beach. Let loose on the Aquazilla, an obstacle course on a giant inflatable structure featuring platforms and slides. Picnic tables and charcoal BBQs are available for visitors to use, free of charge. All you need to bring is charcoal.
The beach is also accessible to people with reduced mobility thanks to special wheelchairs called Hippocampes, and a path along the shore that has been extended this year. Cost of $9 per adult aged 18 and up and free for children aged 17 and under. Parking cost of $10.25 per vehicle for beach clients. Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The beach is supervised from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Labour Day.
Camping des Chutes de la Rouge – Rivière Rouge in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge
Discover the incredible beach at Camping des Chutes de la Rouge on the shores of the Rivière Rouge! Whether you come to swim, play with your kids, or tan on the sand, the beach is guaranteed to make your vacation a success. There’s also a picnic area, a children’s playground, a snack bar, and equipment rentals on site. The cost for non-campers is $7 per person and free for children aged 12 and under accompanied by an adult. Access to the beach and parking lot is free for all Grenville-sur-la-Rouge residents.
Brownsburg-Chatham municipal campground beach – Rivière des Outaouais
Enjoy the beach at the Brownsburg-Chatham municipal campground and its variety of on-site activities and services: beach supervised by certified lifeguards, picnic area, volleyball court, children’s playground, canoe, kayak, stand-up paddle board, and bike rentals, canteen, and service building with washrooms. Access to the Brownsburg-Chatham municipal beach, located at the municipal campground, is free for all residents. Cost for non-residents of $8 per adult, $6 per senior aged 65 and up and child aged 6 to 12, and free for children aged 5 and under. Open daily June 22 through September 6, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lac Laurel beach in Wentworth-Nord
Fall in love with the serenity of Lac Laurel beach, renowned for its breathtaking views! Located in the heart of Wentworth-Nord, Lac Laurel beach has picnic tables and a sun shelter. The beach is open daily June 19 through September 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission.
Jean-Guy-Caron beach – Lac Rond in Sainte-Adèle
Make the most of Jean-Guy-Caron beach, located in the heart of Sainte-Adèle! This modest beach is a favourite thanks to its family-friendly atmosphere, picturesque location, and the quality of its clear water. Free admission for residents upon presentation of their residency card. Daily rate of $10 per adult, $8 for seniors, $5 for children aged 3 to 16, and free for children aged 2 and under. Boat rentals on site: pedal boats, single or double kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and row boats. Open daily June 12 through September 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed at 8 p.m. from July 1st to 31.
Gratton beach – Lac Saint-Joseph in Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard
Gratton beach is accessible to all, free of charge. The beach has a picnic area, a children’s play area, and washroom facilities. Open daily June 12 through September 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., until the end of August. For September (until Labour Day), opening hours will change to Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson municipal beach – Lac Masson
Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson municipal beach is located right next to the former cultural centre. There are picnic tables and washroom facilities available. However, visitors are required to bring their own water. Picnic area on site and free parking on Rue Baron-Louis-Empain. Open daily June 23 through August 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Labour Day: open September 4, 5, and 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lac Raymond beach in Val-Morin
Lac Raymond beach is an incredible, supervised, family-friendly beach located near Lac Raymond and the P’tit Train du Nord cycle path in Val-Morin. Paid parking for non-residents at a cost of $10. Picnic tables on site. Free beach access. Open Wednesday to Sunday, June 18 through August 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Major beach – Lac des Sables – in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
Located near Camping Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Major beach is the largest beach on Lac des Sables. Several activities and services are available: children’s playground, snack bar, washroom facilities, picnic area, beach volleyball courts, and boat rentals. Cost of $12 per adult aged 18 and up (or $8 after 3 p.m.), $7 for children aged 6 to 17 (or $4 after 3 p.m.), and $2.50 for children aged 5 and under. Major beach is open and supervised daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (until June 13, 2021), and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (June 14 to September 6).
Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré municipal beach – Lac Carré
The Lac Carré public grassy beach is open June 24 through September 6, 2021. The beach is supervised daily from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. On site are a picnic area, change rooms, and free outdoor parking. Free admission.
Lac Raynaud beach in Mont-Tremblant
Lac Raynaud beach is located at Parc écotouristique municipal du Domaine Saint-Bernard, in the beautiful heart of nature. Cost of $8 for ages 18 and up, $7 for ages 65 and up and students, and free for ages 17 and under. Free admission for residents upon presentation of their Vivre Mont-Tremblant card and for Amis du Domaine cardholders. The beach is open and supervised daily June 24 through September 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Parc Plage, Tremblant Resort – Lac Tremblant
Tremblant Resort’s Parc Plage is a beach located on the shores of Lac Tremblant. The beach has picnic tables, and admission is free for guests staying on site and for Mont-Tremblant residents. Cost of admission for non-residents of $8 per adult, $4 for children aged 7 to 12, and free for children aged 6 and under. Open daily June 19 through August 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Monday on September 4, 5, and 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
De la Crémaillère beach, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant – Lac Monroe in Lac-Supérieur
Incredible beach located in Parc national du Mont-Tremblant! The beach is supervised Thursday through Monday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Maximize your day with a 30-minute hike to the Chutes-Croches and the Chute-du-Diable. Boats, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, rabaskas, and stand-up paddle boards are also available for rent in the park. The park admission fees apply: $9 per adult and free for ages 17 and under. The beach is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Nominingue municipal beach – Grand lac Nominingue
Summer means swimming and hot sand! Visit the magnificent Nominingue municipal beach, on the shores of the Grand lac Nominingue. The beach is safe and supervised by a certified lifeguard, and amateurs can test their skills on the beach volleyball court. The beach is open daily June 19 through September 6, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Michel-Jr.-Lévesque beach – Lac Tibériade in Rivière-Rouge
Michel-Jr.-Lévesque beach in Rivière-Rouge is accessible free of charge. The beach, located near Camping Sainte-Véronique, offers several on-site services: children’s playground, picnic area, and boat rentals. The beach is open and supervised daily June 19 through August 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., if the weather and demand allow.
Lac Saguay beach
Lac Saguay beach gives the impression of being in the middle of the woods on a white sandy beach! On site are water sports, a volleyball court, a children’s playground, a picnic area, change rooms, and washrooms. The beach will be open and supervised daily June 24 through September 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission.
Mont-Laurier municipal beach – Lac des Sources
Lac des Sources beach is located 5 km north of Mont-Laurier. Excellent family-friendly location with playsets, slide, swings, picnic tables, and volleyball court. Monitors-lifeguards on site. The beach will be open and supervised June 27 through August 21, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Free admission.

Super Aqua Club in Pointe-Calumet
Super Aqua Club in Pointe-Calumet awaits this summer, with over 45 attractions, two of which are one-of-a-kind in Canada, the Wipe Zone and the Tsunami! Come and cool off on the slides, in the wave pool, or tan on the beach. What’s more, picnic areas and restaurants are available for visitors to use. Looking for peace and quiet? Rent a private space starting at $150 + tax. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting June 19.
Parc aquatique du Sommet Saint-Sauveur in Saint-Sauveur
Parc aquatique du Sommet Saint-Sauveur, located on the mountain, has over 25 water activities of all kinds: slides, wave pool, rafting, relaxing river, and much more. On cooler days, almost all slides are heated between 72 and 75 degrees (only two are not). What’s more, to the delight of younger visitors, children can go on most slides if accompanied by an adult. Come and try one of seven rides at Parc F.U.N. and its minigolf course.
Discover the region’s dog-friendly beaches!
- Camping le Fou du Roi in Rivière-Rouge. Admission is free for dogs, but there is a fee for non-campers.
- Camping du Domaine Lausanne in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. Access to two dog pools in the river and a dog park. Dogs are also welcome on the hiking trails. Non-camper cost of $12.18 + tax per adult, $6.09 + tax per child aged 6 to 17, and free for children aged 5 and under.
- Camping Domaine des Cèdres in Brébeuf. Dogs are allowed on a private riverfront beach. There is an additional cost of $5.50 per dog, $9.50 per adult, and $5.50 per child. Free admission for campers.
Before travelling, visit the Ministère de l’Environnement’s website to find out the bacteriological water quality of the swimming portion of the beaches covered under the Environnement-Plage program.
