Upper Laurentians

In the Upper Laurentians, you’ll find plenty of snow and fun! The area offers a perfect mix of lakes, rivers, mountains and large reservoirs. Parc régional Montagne du Diable offer adventurers an amazing array of fun activities: snowmobiling, hiking, fatbiking, snowshoeing, classic and skate cross-country skiing, Nordic skiing and much more! Enhance your getaway with a night under the stars in a prospector’s tent or in a log cabin in the mountains.

Laurentian Heartland

The Laurentian Heartland is the perfect place for a trip combining action and relaxation. The wild natural environment lends itself to a host of winter activities.

The area boasts a large number of parks, including the famous Mont Tremblant National Park, parc régional Val-David Val-Morin’s Far Hills sector and Dufresne sector and parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord.

Thanks to the diversity of these parks, the region offers a wide range of activities: fatbiking, winter backpacking by snowshoe, on cross-country skis or on foot, bird and wildlife watching, ice climbing, incredible views and more.

Lower Laurentian

In the Lower Laurentian area, just minutes from the big city, the countryside takes centre stage. Suddenly, the landscape is bucolic and the air, bracing.

Parc régional éducatif bois de Belle-Rivière, parc du Domaine Vert, parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles and parc national d’Oka offer a wide range of activities for families: sledding, skating as well as snowshoe, cross-country ski and fatbike outings.

You can also extend your visit by taking advantage of a variety of accommodation options: cottages, Compact cabins, campsites or cabins.

Linear parks!

Among the many activities available, you can tour along Le P’tit Train du Nord” linear park, a 232-km cycle path built over an old railway line from Bois-des-Filion to Mont- Laurier: it’s the longest park of its kind in Canada! Enjoy a great outing on your bike, in-line skates, cross-country skis or snowmobile. While roaming about, you will have an opportunity to visit some of the lively nearby towns and villages, where you will find a wealth of heritage railway stations, restaurants, cultural activities, art galleries and quaint little boutiques.

The Parc du Corridor aérobique is open to cyclists looking for an outing right in the heart of nature. The Corridor offers a 58-km circuit which runs through wild landscapes dotted with lakes and green valleys, through territories and picturesque villages : Amherst,  Huberdeau, Arundel, Montcalm, Lac-des-Seize-Îles, Wentworth-Nord and Morin-Heights. Come and take an unusual hybrid bike ride down nature’s highway!
