To the delight of many, the Christmas market tradition is back in the Laurentians this year! This tradition is an integral part of the Holiday season in many countries, such as Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and several other places in Europe. In Quebec, these festive markets have become a celebration, showcasing local artists, artisans, and food producers.

Clearly, the Laurentians are no exception to this: there are over twenty markets, shows, fairs, and exhibitions from the north to south of the region. Without further ado, head out to discover unique gems made by passionate creators. Here are the best Christmas 2021 markets in the Laurentians:

Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs Gift Fair

Gift ideas for the Holidays, outdoor activities, firepit, take-home meals, choir, and background music.

  • Where: Centre communautaire de Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs.
  • When: November 20 and 21: Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nominingue Christmas Market

Nominingue train station and its tiny houses are the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind and personalized Christmas gifts made by local artisans.

  • Where: Nominingue station and hamlet.
  • When: November 20, 21, 27, and 28: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lac-Supérieur Christmas Market

Paintings, sculptures, knitting, Christmas decorations, weaving, jewelry, natural cosmetics, and food products. Indoor and outdoor kiosks, snacks and meals sold on site.

  • Where: Halte de la Nature du Lac-Supérieur.
  • When: November 21:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sainte-Thérèse Christmas Village

For this event, Quebec artisans and producers are joining forces in order to offer a wide variety of items and products.

  • Where: Marché Gourmand at Place du Village and Maison des métiers d’art at Maison Lachaîne.
  • When: November 25 to December 12: Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Blainville Arts and Crafts Fair

Over fifty artisans and creatives of all types get together to promote the rich local culture. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to find unique little gifts or to discover something nice.

Mont-Tremblant Holiday Market

In a friendly atmosphere, vendors from Mont-Tremblant and the surrounding areas extend a warm welcome to visitors and offer high-quality products that are sure to make for the rarest of gifts.

Argenteuil Christmas Fair – Arts and Delights

After a break in 2020, the Argenteuil RCM is thrilled to announce the return of its Arts and Delights Christmas Fair.
