Events
Halloween celebrations in Sainte-Adèle
Several events will take place this year in Sainte-Adèle! On Sunday, October 21, check out a special LEGO Halloween workshop: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., and LEGO City, Zombie World from 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. On Saturday, October 27, come for a freaky face-to-face encounter with reptiles, stick bugs, spiders, insects, and several other commonly misunderstood animals hiding behind their defense mechanisms. There’s something for adults, too, with a night of horror on Saturday night at Cinéma Pine.
And, on October 31, 2018, it’s Halloween! Entertainment, candy handouts, costume contests, carnival games, axe throw, haunted house, inflatable labyrinth, walk-around characters, petting zoo, DJ, shows featuring light poi, stilt walkers, and contortionists – all the makings of a festive and mysterious ambiance. Join us from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Halloween in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines
On Saturday, October 27, 2018, Halloween is coming to Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines! From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., wander the Lost Woods with your family and search for clues to find the hidden witches! What’s more, the children’s parade will start at 2 p.m.! Parents and friends are invited to cheer on the little monsters in disguise. Meet at the corner of Des Cèdres and Des Saisons Streets.
Halloween in Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré
From October 26 to 28, 2018, Halloween is coming to Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carré! On Friday, October 26, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Salle Bellevue, the countess (a.k.a. Joe Bocan) will perform an interactive show specially created for Halloween with tales, songs, and laughs for children 8 and under. On Saturday, October 27 at 10:30 a.m. learn about the origins of Halloween during a presentation at Bibliothèque du Lac. This presentation is intended for adults. And, on Sunday, October 28, the entire family is invited to Salle La Doyenne. On the program: live professional pumpkin carving, a pumpkin carving workshop for all, and a pumpkin contest.
Halloween in Lorraine
From October 26 to 28, 2018, the city of Lorraine has several activities in store for Halloween. There’s a Halloween dance on October 26, organized by the 49th Lorraine-Rosemère Scout Troop. Then, on Saturday, October 27, come for an animated family-friendly tour. Ongoing departures from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes. And, on Sunday, October 28, head to Lorraine Arena for a free skate from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Halloween music and candy for children. Come in costume!
Halloween celebrations at Ranch La Douceur in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
On October 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., join us at Ranch La Douceur in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts! Corridor of horrors and candy on site. Come in costume! Fees: adult $5, child $2.50, free under 2 years old.
Festival du frisson at Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord in Saint-Jérôme
On Sunday, October 21, 2018, come celebrate Halloween at Parc régional de la Rivière-du-Nord! On the program: a magician, children’s face painting, pinatas, mummy contests, and other games. Park entry fees apply. In case of bad weather, activities will be cancelled; information will be posted on the park’s Facebook page.
Halloween celebrations in Blainville
From October 26 to 28, head to Parc équestre de Blainville for Halloween activities. Several activities are planned; see you there!
Halloween weekend for adults in Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides
This year, adults can celebrate Halloween at L’Interval! Make the most of the fall nature, Mont Kaaïkop, trails, and animated activities from October 26 to 28. Come for a soirée with singers on Friday night, and a community supper and Halloween costume party with prizes for the best costumes on Saturday night. Halloween celebrations at Musée régional d’Argenteuil
The Musée invites you to celebrate Halloween on Sunday, October 28 from 4 p.m. onwards! Guided tours of the museum in the dark and outdoor entertainment are on the program!
Halloween celebrations at Saint-Joseph du Lac
Celebrate Halloween a few days early! A haunted house, street performers, and bouncy castles will be on site. Join us on Saturday October 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Halloween Frenzy in Saint-Sauveur
On Wednesday, October 31, Saint-Sauveur will host a Halloween Frenzy! On the program: rides, haunted house, pumpkin exposition, carnival games, candy handout, street performers, pumpkin decorating contest, and much more. Join us from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Georges-Filion Park, next to the church.
Saint-Sauveur Halloween Parade
On Wednesday, October 31, take part in Saint-Sauveur’s Halloween Parade! Again, this year, the parade will start at the corner of Monette Street and Principale Street. Fanfares, dance troupes, mascots, and about twenty floats will be on site to entertain people of all ages, from 6 p.m. onwards.
Halloween movie night in Saint-Eustache
On Friday, October 26 from 6:30 p.m. onwards, Saint-Eustache will host a Halloween movie night. Children under 12 can head to the multipurpose room to see the Mexican film Coco, and anyone over 12 can watch the American horror movie A Quiet Place upstairs in the teen section. Free popcorn will be served! No registration necessary.
Halloween at Carrefour du Nord in Saint-Jérôme
On Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., come celebrate Halloween at Carrefour du Nord! Halloween photobooth at Centre Court: come in costume, smile, print and share your pictures on social media or by email. Candy hunt in participating stores: collect a card from Customer Service the day of the event.

Halloween celebrations in Rivière-Rouge
On Saturday, October 27, from 10:00 a.m. onwards, strange characters will roam about downtown as part of Halloween celebrations in Rivière-Rouge. A kind and not-so-evil witch will greet participants both young and old at Parc de la Gare. What’s more, look out for superb mascots downtown to entertain children, in addition to a grand pumpkin decorating contest.
Halloween expo in Nominingue
