Free Booking Service to Organize Your Getaway
Take advantage of the services of Tourisme Laurentides, which offers a free booking service for organizing your trip along the linear park. You can ride the path at your own pace without worrying about lugging your bags around! We organize all customized stays based on visitors’ needs. The route is planned according to the number of kilometres you want to travel per day. We take care of booking accommodations and transporting your luggage. We work with the carrier Autobus Le Petit Train du Nord, who will transport you and your bike to your starting point on the path. All you will have to do is ride to your hotel or inn, where your luggage will be waiting for you at the end of every day until you arrive at your final destination.
What is the route like?
The bike path is linear, so it is not a loop unless you retrace your steps. Usually, trips begin in the morning at kilometre 0 in Saint-Jérôme, which serves as the meeting place where the carrier awaits you. You will be transported to your predetermined starting point. The carrier brings cyclists to the Mont-Laurier station, the end of the path. Most cyclists go to Mont-Laurier and ride the path to Saint-Jérôme. It should be noted that the path has a slight downward slope when ridden southward, so it is somewhat easier than going from south to north.
On average, cyclists pedal about 30 to 50 kilometres per day, and they choose their lodging accordingly. But all options are possible. For example, if you have just two days and one night, based on the number of kilometres you want to travel, you could go to Mont-Tremblant, ride to Sainte-Adèle, sleep there and then complete your trip in Saint-Jérôme the next day. The carrier offers stops at all stations on the linear park. Take this chance to relax and admire the scenery.
