Beach and Water Activities

Summertime means fun in the water! And the Laurentians have beaches and water parks galore for you to cool off at with family or friends. Why not extend your getaway with a stay in one of the region’s cabins, inns, hotels, holiday resorts, or campgrounds? Take inspiration from our suggestions to plan your summer getaways in the Laurentians:

Discover canoeing or kayaking

Looking to find the best water in the Laurentians? Why not try canoeing or kayaking with the entire family? Canoe Kayak Arundel offers visitors private access to Beaven River. The calm, shimmering water is perfect for beginners! Take a trip down a calm river with À l’Abordage, located in Val-David on the Nord River or in Mont-Tremblant on the Diable River. Several packages available! Rouge & Diable also offers canoe or kayak river descent packages on the Diable River and on the Rouge River. For its part, the Labelle-based Kayak & Cabana organizes 12-km trips on the Rouge River by kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board. Soak up the benefits of nature and the outdoors!

Family activities to stay cool and play in the water

Hot summer days are here, so come and cool off with the family! Reserve your outing at one of the region’s two outdoor water parks starting mid-June. Parc aquatique du Sommet Saint-Sauveur is the largest mountain water park. Your ticket includes admission to Parc F.U.N.’s five rides. Brand new this summer: Super Aqua Club in Pointe-Calumet will be the first water park in the world to implement the Dream Tunnel, an immersive attraction! In Mont-Tremblant, discover Brind’O Aquaclub and its 4 slides and 35 interactive water games. Everything is indoors, away from the elements on rainy days.

Float on the water

Gently sway to the movement of the region’s lakes and rivers with friends, family, or loved ones! Located in Pointe-Calumet, Voile Sansoucy school and Club offers training and outings on sporty catamarans on Deux-Montagnes Lake. Personalized training is guaranteed depending on your level of experience. Les Croisières Mont-Tremblant offers memorable cruises, with or without meals, only a couple of minutes from downtown Tremblant Resort. With Camping Le Fou du Roi, head out for a getaway on the Rouge River aboard an inflatable tube. Majestic landscapes await!
